It had been a while since I’d been to the Georgetown Waterfront, so I decided it would be worth exploring for a Sunday Snapshot. The views are just as picturesque as I remember – and with some new restaurants (and more on the way), it’s also a great place to dine and enjoy a day (or evening) away from city life.

The Georgetown Waterfront Park Fountain is always popular with children – and adults, too, when it’s really hot!
The Embassy of Sweden’s sharp modern design stands out along the waterfront.
Malmaison offers French cuisine and a cool atmosphere. When the weather’s nice, the front of the restaurant is completely open to the street.
The Key Bridge Boathouse offers canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards to use in the Potomac.
The patio at Fiola Mare looks (and feels) like a vacation away.
