It’s hard to believe, but “Crazy in Love” is now 11 years old.
The first single off Dangerously in Love, “Crazy in Love” established Beyoncé’s solo career and her status as pop and style royalty.
Click more for looks inspired by the classic video.
The most iconic look, of course, is from the video’s opening sequence – featuring Beyoncé in a white tank top, short jean shorts, and orange heels. It’s also the easiest to replicate, especially in the summertime.
The Look: ASOS Petite Tank with Scoop Neck, $9.53. Levi’s High Rise Shortie Shorts in Jetsetter, $29. Jimmy Choo Pointed Toe Pumps, $339
The dress in the video is Versace. This one doesn’t have the same colorful accents, but it still evokes the bold look and color of the original. Add some accessories and you’ve got a great outfit for a night out in the city.
The Look: Aqua Joker Shift Dress with Deep V Neck, $93.36. H&M Chain Necklace, $12.95. Nordstrom Large Hoop Earrings, $26. Forever 21 Large Cable Chain Bracelet, $8.80
This outfit is pure early 00s – when video dance sequences were almost as important as the song.
The Look:Won Hundred Oversize Bomber Jacket, $240.08. Rasta Striped Wristband, $3.95. Lids Top of the World Blank Slam Cap, $17.99. Athleta Low-Rise Dipper Pant, $29.99
The video builds to a dramatic exchange between Beyoncé and Jay-Z – one that’s echoed by her outfit. I stripped out the mink and kept the essence of the look with a deep-V dress and statement earrings.
The Look: Nasty Gal Deep Trouble Dress – Black, $42. Sophie Blake Maud Earrings – Gold, $115
Good job!!! Like it!!!
