  • Several area farmer’s markets – including Crystal City (April 1), Foggy Bottom (April 2), and Penn Quarter (April 3) – are opening this week.  [FRESHFARM Markets]
  • District Taco will be opening another location in the area on 20th and M Street NW where a Cosi outpost once stood.  No word yet on an exact date, but @districttaco tells us it will be “very soon.” [Twitter]
  • Meat lovers rejoice – Richard Sandoval’s new downtown restaurant Toro Toro opens this evening.  [BYT]
  • If you haven’t had breakfast yet at Red Apron’s Penn Quarter location, you’re missing out on some of the best breakfast sandwiches in town.  We’re partial to the Buenos Dias and The Islander, but let’s been honest – they had us at tigelle.  [Red Apron]
