DC Bites + Style: March 12, 2014

  • H&M will be opening a store this summer at the former Filene’s Basement location at Connecticut and Desales NW. We suspect Farragut North and surrounding metro stations will soon be plastered with David Beckham to commemorate the occasion.
  • Construction is underway at 23rd and M St. NW for SoulCycle’s first DC location.  It is expected to open this summer.
  • The Thread pop-up market will be back at Union Market from April 4-6.  Area vendors will include Mutiny , Moore & Giles, and DC’s most famous bookstore, Politics and Prose.   [Union Market]
  • BLT Steak brings back its Recess menu March 17-21.  Choose from 10 dishes for $10 each at the bar until – you guessed it – 10 p.m.  [Eater]
  •  J. Chocolatier, formerly located in Georgetown, will have a pop-up shop at Eastern Market this weekend.  [PoPville]
